Bird watching has become a favorite area sport. From this area Great Horned Owls and Bald Head Eagles are common as well as hundreds of other species.
A short travel from your chalet will take you to the heart of 'Iceberg Alley' as it is fearsomely referred to by ancient mariners. These massive icebergs are a regular occurrence on our northeast shores and are easily seen from shore.
